This 6mm poplar laserply is manufactured in Italy, using 100% Italian poplar trees. The poplar veneers are used for the inner cores and outer face, with the face running long grain. This laser plywood has a light colour with a barely visible grain, making it perfect for laser engraving. The quality grade allocated to these sheets is AB/AB. The cores are glued together using Pangua PureGlue, which is a non-toxic bonding innovation that is Formaldehyde-Free. The plywood is from FSC and PEFC certified sustainable timber.

As we laser engrave and cut ourselves, we have noted the following points for you to keep in mind when using this for your laser engraver. The laserply plywood is a natural wood product and are very thin sheets, keeping this in mind and the UK humidity, there could be a a very slight bow or twist when placed on a flat surface. Therefore we recommend you tape down the ends when used with your laser cutter. The manufacturers have also advised that there is a small tolerance in thickness of +/- 0.3mm. This shouldn’t be an issue but it is worth noting. Finally, small pin knots of a few mm in diameter may be found on some sheets.
